GypSea Fishing Charters is located out of Brooklyn,NY.

We welcome everyone from families to novice fisherman, as well as the 'hardcore' fisherman. The 50' Gypsea II specializes in limited load open boat fishing trips but can also be chartered for your desired species. Equipped with all custom rods and reels, top of the line electronics and safety gear.

 

We will get you to the grounds swiftly and comfortably. In addition to fishing , we also offer sunset and booze cruises to the

perfect views of Manhattans skyline.

In the Spring, we open our season on the hunt for trophy sized bass, which are often caught just minutes from the dock. These trips are often limit out and the chance at the fish of a lifetime is always a possibility. Due to the close proximity of the fish, these trips sail early and often & can get you back before work! This is one of our specialties and if the bass are around, we will find them.

 

As we progress into the summer months we switch our focus to bottom dwelling species like Fluke, Seabass, and Porgy. These trips are great for the family as they tend to be action packed and keep everyone interested. Often, we don't have to travel more than a few miles for this type of fishing.

 

Early in June, we capitalize on the inshore thresher fishery. Our captains have placed in numerous tournaments over the years and specialize in this type of fishing. Sharks often come as close as only a couple miles off the beach and when they do, the action is fast & furious. We highly recommend these trips for anyone looking for an up close encounter with a large pelagic.

 

When fall approaches, we switch gears back to striper fishing utilizing a variety of techniques. The fall run usually produce good quantities of striped bass of all sizes. At this time, we also sharpen our hooks for the blackfish season. One of our specialties, we thoroughly enjoy putting our customers over these tricksters which provides for some memorable trips. Although very challenging to catch, blackfish are also one of the most rewarding.

 

Throughout the winter months, we also accommodate those in search of giant sea bass and the winter king, codfish. These trips are always productive and a great way to fill the freezer over the winter.
